Processing of Personal Data

Cookie Usage Policy

The protection of individuals in relation to the processing of personal data is one of the fundamental rights. Article 8(1) of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and Article 16(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union state that everyone has the right to the protection of personal data concerning them.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that on December 19, 2017, the President of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Andrej Kiska, signed the Personal Data Protection Act and Amendment to Certain Laws, which was assigned the number 18/2018 Z.z. in the collection of laws. This law will repeal the current Act No. 122/2013 Z.z. on the Protection of Personal Data on May 25, 2018.

The processing of personal data is lawful if it is necessary based on a special regulation. In other words, one of the possible legal bases for processing personal data is also a special law. The employer is the legal basis for processing personal data:

I. Basic Provisions

The data controller of personal data according to § 5 letter o) of the Act No. 18/2018 Z.z. on the Protection of Personal Data, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Act"), is Blonde, s.r.o., IČO 47 944 684, with its registered office at Ružová dolina 16648/8, 821 09 Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as the "controller").

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is a person who can be directly or indirectly identified, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, network identifier, or reference to one or more specific elements of the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that person.

II. Sources and Categories of Processed Personal Data

The controller processes personal data that you have provided or personal data that the controller has obtained based on filling out a contact form, booking a dress fitting, or entering into a rental contract directly at the store.

The controller processes your identification and contact data necessary for handling customer inquiries, managing reservations for dress fittings, or providing tailoring services and other necessary activities related to the rental of dresses.

III. Legal Basis and Purpose of Personal Data Processing

The legal basis for processing personal data is:

  • Fulfillment of a contract between you and the controller under § 13(1)(b) of the Act,

  • Legitimate interest of the controller in providing direct marketing (mainly for sending commercial notices and newsletters) under § 13(1)(f) of the Act,

  • Your consent to processing for direct marketing purposes (mainly for sending commercial notices and newsletters) under § 13(1)(a) of the Act, if no goods or services have been ordered.

The purpose of processing personal data is:

  • To handle your requests or questions submitted through the contact form and to perform rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the controller. When completing a rental contract, personal data is required for successful execution of the rental (name and surname, address, ID number, phone number, and email contact). Providing personal data is a mandatory requirement for concluding and fulfilling the contract; without providing personal data, the contract cannot be concluded or fulfilled by the controller.

  • Sending commercial notices and conducting other marketing activities.

The controller does not engage in automated individual decision-making as per § 28 of the Act.

IV. Retention Period for Personal Data

The controller retains personal data:

  • For the duration necessary to perform rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the controller and for exercising claims from these contractual relationships (for a period of 15 years after the termination of the contractual relationship).

  • For the duration until consent for processing personal data for marketing purposes is revoked, but no longer than 5 years if personal data is processed based on consent.

After the retention period has expired, the controller will delete personal data.

V. Recipients of Personal Data (Employees of the Controller)

Recipients of personal data are individuals:

  • Involved in delivering goods/services/payment processing under the contract,

  • Ensuring services related to the operation of the rental and dress store and other related services, including marketing services.

VI. Your Rights

Under the conditions set out in the Act, you have the following rights:

  • The right to access your personal data as per § 21 of the Act,

  • The right to correct personal data as per § 22 of the Act or restrict its processing as per § 24 of the Act,

  • The right to erase personal data as per § 23 of the Act,

  • The right to object to processing as per § 27 of the Act,

  • The right to data portability as per § 26 of the Act,

  • The right to withdraw consent for processing in writing or electronically to the address or email of the controller as stated in Article III of these conditions.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection if you believe that your personal data protection rights have been violated.

VII. Personal Data Security Conditions

The controller declares that it has adopted all appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure personal data.

The controller has adopted technical measures to secure data storage and personal data storage in paper form.

The controller declares that only authorized persons have access to personal data.

VIII. Final Provisions

By submitting the contact form, booking a dress fitting, or signing a rental contract, you confirm that you are aware of the terms of personal data protection and that you fully accept them.

You agree to these terms by ticking the consent box through the online form. By ticking the consent box, you confirm that you are aware of the terms of personal data protection and that you fully accept them.

The controller is entitled to change these terms. The new version of the personal data protection terms will be published on its website and simultaneously sent to your email address provided to the controller.

These terms come into effect on May 25, 2018.
